Student Success Statement 75

Student Success Statement
“When an archer misses the mark, he turns and looks for the fault within himself. Failure to hit the bulls—eye is never the fault of the target. To improve your aim, improve yourself.”
Gilbert Arland
I think that this means that when you fail to meet your goal it is your fault. For example, if your goal is to get straight A’s on your report card and when it arrives to you at home and you see it, and it is not all A’s it is not the report card’s fault it is your fault for not trying hard enough and it is your responsibility for improving yourself. Improve your skills and it will be easier to aim better at your next target.

Student Success Statement 43

Student Success Statement
“The only difference between those who have failed and those who have succeeded lies in the difference of their habits. Good habits are the key to all success. Bad habits are the unlocked door to failure. Thus, the first laws I will obey, which precedeth all others is—‘I will form good habits and become their slaves’”
Og Mandino
I think what this quote is trying to say is that the habits you do can help you succeed or fail. If you run every day for your benefit when it comes to running the mile in P.E class you will pass because it’s your habit so it will be a piece of cake for you or if you read a lot. When they test your reading status, you will pass with a high score because your use to read.

Student Success Statement 42

Student Success Statement
“Whether I fail or succeed shall be no man’s doing but my own. I am the force.”
Elaine Maxwell
I think this quote means that if you fail it’s your fault because you’re the one who made the choice. If you succeed that’s your recognition because you’re the one that made the choices you made. So, it’s no one’s recognition but your own. If you decide to act a certain choice be prepared to pay the consequences.
