Student Success Statement 77

Student Success Statement
“Continuous effort, not strength or intelligence, is the key to unlocking our potential.”
Liane Cordes
I think that this means that it is better for you to use the same effort in everything and  use it every day. Because then if you work hard today but tomorrow you are lazy you fall behind. In life to succeed you need to give all your effort every day to make sure you complete everything. And make sure that you work with intellegence every single time.

Balancing High School and Part Time Jobs (Part 2)

Balancing High School and Part Time Jobs (Part 2)
Voicing your goals to someone else can help you make decisions and figure out your priorities. It can also help you judge whether you can do both—work and study—successfully. To help this question, ask yourself:
J  Am I an organized person?
J  What kind of study habits do I have?
J  Do I make a good use of my available time?
J  Will I be able to manga my schedule effectively if I take on a part-time job?
Think about the pros and cons of working. On the plus side, a job can teach you about commitment, time management and responsibility—and of course.. handling money. On the minus side, a job can cut into the time you have for sleeping, studying and socializing.
Choose The Right!!!!!

Student Success Statement 50

Student Success Statement
“Success is dependent on effort.”
Sophocles, Greek dramatist
I think this quote means that success will only happen if you try and put your effort into it. If you work hard and put 100% effort into it you will get good results and feel proud of your accomplishments. Like for example, if you put all your effort in school you can get good grades as the reward and feel proud about your achieving your goals. And you will want to set more goals.
