Student Success Statement
“When an archer misses the mark,
he turns and looks for the fault within himself. Failure to hit the bulls—eye is
never the fault of the target. To improve your aim, improve yourself.”
Gilbert Arland
I think
that this means that when you fail to meet your goal it is your fault. For example,
if your goal is to get straight A’s on your report card and when it arrives to
you at home and you see it, and it is not all A’s it is not the report card’s
fault it is your fault for not trying hard enough and it is your responsibility
for improving yourself. Improve your skills and it will be easier to aim better
at your next target.
