“Nothing is ever gained in doing what’s wrong.”
Wilfrod Woodruff
I think what this quote means is that is that
even though you can expect to get a reward for choosing the right. You cannot
expect a reward for choosing what’s wrong. Because you should and you never get
a reward for doing the wrong things you are not to do. For example, if you get
good grades you can get a reward in an assembly and be sitting in the stage
waiting for your name to be called, or you can choose the wrong and behave bad
and the results you end up sitting in the audience watching everyone else or
your friends get awards except for you. It’s just one decision that can
determine a reward or nothing in return.
