Student Success Statement
“What’s right isn't always popular. What’s popular isn't always
right.”
Howard
Cosell
I
think what this quote is trying to say is that rightness and popularity are not
proportional meaning they are not related. That means that if the new popular
thing is too do drugs in school, that doesn't means you have to go around and
join them. You can simply choose the right and not have to be popular. Or if
the popular kids go and rob a store, you don’t have to go with them and do the
same thing they do because even if you do it you might not even become popular
and get in trouble. Or even if everybody is cursing in their house, why should
you have to do it too?
